This week is a "free theme". I picked a card from my archives that I really like.
I used two different stencils. It was a challenge getting it to work right, but my perserverance paid off!
First I took the love birds from
LL3011 Love bird heart, masked off all the heart and used red paste for the birds.
Then I positioned
LL3012 Bird cage over the top of the birds and used silver paste. Once dry, I sponged through the vine heart from the love bird heart stencil with kaleidacolor Creole Spice to create the vines behind the image. Finally I sponged some color with a very light touch at the bottom of the card.
Make sure you visit the other blogs for more ideas. See you next week!!
Very clever! I've been wanting to do something like this but over-thought the process and made it far to difficult. Thanks for the clear instructions and the beautiful card, right down to the chain holding up the birdcage.
ReplyDeleteGreat job Terrece, I like how you created the vines at the top. Happy St. Patrick's Day!
