So I was sitting thinking about how "hot" it's been in Wyoming and dreaming about Hawaii. Which gave me an idea for this weeks creation.
The stencils used this week are; LL482 Pineapple
and LM294 Summer
To help with my Hawaiian inspired creation, I found a decorative paper with palm trees on it. Now I know that pineapples don't grow on palm trees, but we can pretend!
Paste Pineapple with Dreamweaver original white matte paste. Let dry. Place stencil back or image and stencil color with pigment ink. Remove stencil then cover with Psychadelic embossing powder, tap off extra, heat with embossing gun.
Stencil Summer stencil with pigment ink directly on decorative paper with dark green pigment. Emboss with Psychadelic powder the same way we did the pineapple.
If you would like to join the challenge just create something that shouts "SUMMERTIME", then link up to mr. linky on the Dream it Up site and we will pop by and view your summer magic! If you don't have a blog but would like to join the fun, just email your design to Lynell at Dreamweaver: lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com and when she gets back from CHA on the 23rd she will post it that week.
Here is a sneak peek of one of the stencils that Dreamweaver will be presenting to the retailers at CHA Summer (a bi-yearly trade show). You could win this stencil if you join our challenge. We are giving away two. A #1 prize to the person who best interprets the challenge and #2 winner for best use of Dreamweaver products. So see?....you don't even have to use Dreamweaver products (of course we are thrilled when you do.)
And don't forget to visit the other team member's blogs for more summertime inspiration.
I so agree with you Terrece, I would love to be in Hawaii right now. Your card is lovely and we all can dream.
ReplyDeleteThe imagery is very good on this one, Terrece . . . cool breeze rustling the palm fronds, even cooler pina colada . . .
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun summer card! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you! Let's go to Hawaii. Fun layers of design!
ReplyDeletePineapples may not grow on palm trees but they grow near them sometimes! Great card!
