December is Frosty Fun

With Christmas quickly approaching and time a luxury, I found a card I did a couple of years ago.  It reminds me of the Christmas Story.

So here it is.

Start with LL556 Sleigh & Reindeer

Dry emboss image

Then carefully color with colored pencils

Stencil snowflakes onto a piece of cardstock.  Make reverse mask of a circle, sponge color to make moon.  Dust edges of background piece.

Cut out image, mount onto front of card with 3-d foam tape.

This one isn't a quickie, but well worth the effort!

Make sure you check out the rest of the teams blogs for more frosty ideas.

Wishing you and your familys a Very Happy Holiday!!  See you next week.

Frosty Fun!!

Ahhh...December! Brrrr....!!! This month we are challenging you to design a wintery delight. It can be something other than paper, but again we will have two winners: "Best interpretation of the challenge" and "best usage of Dreamweaver products". This last month of the year we will award each of these winners a brand new stencil design we are releasing at CHA. (It's a secret until the very end of the month!)

The closer it gets to Christmas the more crazy life gets.  This week is a bit hectic, so I dug into my past creations to find this card.

Start with LG711 Rhinestone Tree

Paste with white glossy paste. Let dry. Use crystal glitter glue on one side of each large branch and red glitter glue on some of the dots on the tree. Continue the dots of red across the card.

Super easy.

I apologize for the picture.  It was from the early stages of photo's for the team.  Hope you can take the time to visit everyones site for more frosty inspiration!  Till next week..................

December is Frosty Fun!

Hi everyone,
December's theme is Frosty Fun.   As soon as I heard the theme I thought of one of Dreamweavers newer stencils
LX7016 Season of Joy

I am posting a card I made a while back because it reminds me of Frosty Fun.

I used white matt paste over the complete image.  Then carefully placed Perfect FX over the areas I wanted to stand out.

Then heat until the paste bubbles.  Love the result!

Can't wait to see what you all have created with this months theme.  Don't forget to visit the rest of the teams sites for more frosty inspiration!!  And make sure to enter a card on the Dreamweaver site.
