Tiny Treats

This week I decided to show one of the new Fox stencils.  Of course it is the "tiny" of the two.

Unfortunately, my camera fell off the car seat on Mother's Day weekend and crunched my lens.  So I don't have a picture of the stencil, but will post it as soon as I can get one this week.

I used the double glitter technique and Art Institute glitters.

Isn't he CUTE!!!  Love these new foxes.

Make sure to check out the rest of the groups blogs for inspiration.

Until next time, happy stenciling to you......

Tiny Treats!

This little cuties are using the same stencil I used last week when it wasn't my turn to post.

Quick and easy, can be used for a place card, a gift tag or a little thank you for baby showers.

First I created my own paste colors by mixing white glossy with red glossy for pink and blue glossy for the blue.  The most difficult part of these tiny treats is finding matching paper.  I would suggest getting a few pieces of pink paper and a few of blue, then as you are mixing your paste color compare to the paper so you can match the colors closer.
(okay, I'm apologizing now for the sideways picture but I tried several times to get it to show up coreectly.  I'm just not computer savy enough!!!)

Next, paste a pink or/and blue ducky - or green or yellow for that fact.  What ever works for the party.  Matt onto colored paper and wall-la (insert yuk yuk here).

Make sure to vist the rest of team.  Not only those listed but others (incase they are so excited they post on the off week!!)

Until next time.....happy stenciling to you!!

I apologize for all the corny comments, but I've been sick for almost 3 months - I am FINALLY feeling better.   I'll try not to be so silly (lie) next time!

Should be the "A" Team

I got so excited with the new stencils that I got my weeks mixed up.  SURPRISE to me!!

Make sure you check out the "A" teams blogs for the first round of the May theme!

Tiny Treats

This month our theme relates to tiny tokens for teacher appreciation, kids, wedding, anniversary favors.

I decided to create something that could be adapted to a Baby announcement, tag or shower place card.

First I started with one of Dreamweavers BRAND NEW images that was introduced at the last Craft and Hobby convention...LS1013 Rubber Ducky

Tape off duck and paste puddle with blue glossy paste.  Let dry.

Mix a little yellow matte paste with red glossy paste to create a pinch of orange paste.
Replace stencil over puddle, tape off puddle and paste the ducky with yellow matte paste.
Add the orange you just mixed to his beak.  I scratched out his wing, but I don't think I'd do that again.

Add a small black jewel for the eye.

This could be used for a favor or gift card for a Baby Shower.

I decided to made it a card so I added the word puddles from LG738, rain words in blue glossy paste in the upper right corner of my card.

I printed "I love" over the puddles in blue and yellow colored pencils.

Simple but I liked it!

Make sure to at least visit the half of the team listed below for more creative ideas.

Till next time.....Happy stenciling to you...until we meet again.
