March Clean and Simple Challenge

This week I tried to create something as simply as I could.
I started with LJ919 Art Nouveau Flourish
It reminded me of the fibers in mulberry paper. So I pasted the image on white mulberry paper with pearlescent paste. Let dry.
Wet the edges of the mulberry paper and gently pull to create the feathered edge.
Attach to paper with a jeweled brad. Layer on decorative paper. I started with mottled turquoise and layered that onto black lizard paper before attaching to card front.

Tah - dah! Quick, clean and simple.

Almost missed it!!

Went to bed early and totally forgot to schedule my post!!

Thought I would do something a bit different for this weeks clean and simple.

Start with a piece of light weight wood (I used balsa) and spray paint white.

Then, set LJ 915 Opto checkerboard over the top of it and paste with black glossy paste.

Cut out two rectangles using the design as a guide. Punch holes in two opposite corners, add jewelry rings, hoop earring findings, a couple of beads and...............

Tah Dah!!!

Earrings!

More Clean & Simple

Welcome back!
We are keeping with the clean and simple theme.
When creating C&S cards, I like to use decorative papers to give the cards more color. So most of my cards this month will have decorative papers on them.

This week I'm using my favorite heart and my infamous green sludge paste.

After pasting, remove stencil and sprinkle a little glitter over it.
Then add shading with a dark green marker. Make sure to shade on the same side of each line. Pick either the right or the left, but try to stay consistent.

Add felt leaves behind the heart. Mount with 3-d foam tape onto small square then onto green square. Mount that to decorative paper with 3-d foam tape then decorative print onto front of card.

Done! Quick and clean and simple!

Check out the other team members for more ideas. And keep posting along with us. We love seeing what you come up with.

Until next week............
