Dreamweaver and Stampendous: Another Dream-Pendous Event...Day Five

Displaying Badge.png

Welcome to another "Dream-Pendous" week of inspiration! The *Stampendous*team and the *Dreamweaver* team  (plus a couple) are collaborating once again with all the fun toys in both team's arsenal. Of course, as usual, there will be great prizes available for those who comment throughout this week. In face there will be three prize packages available to win.

Each will have a great selection of *Dreamweaver Stencils* and *Stampendous* images and dies...one of which being the new *"Blossom Beauty"* face image as shown on the badge above. Here is my creation for today:

I wanted to do something totally different from my last post.  So here is the girl in blue flowers.

I Started with the Blossom Beauty from Stampendous.  Stamping her in dark blue pigment.  Then using the mask I stamped the flowers.  Again this was all done in colored pencils.

Once I had her colored I put the finishing touches on with Dreamweaver stencils:
LJ804 Large Dots with a white pen and

LJ815 Zebra Texture
first I traced some of the lines on her forehead with a lead pencil then colored it in with a blue colored pencil.

Perfect!!  I really liked the result.
Make sure to visit the rest of the group and join in and win prizes.   Thanks for visiting!

Started with the Blossom Beauty from Stampendous.  I immediately pictured a Gibson Girl.  Once she was colored with pencils I stenciled the background with Dreamweaver Stencil LX7022 Vintage Decor in Soft Blue pigment ink behind her.

LOVE THIS!!!

Make sure to continue through the group for more ideas for Stampendous and Dreamweaver!!

Also remember if you participate you too could be a winner!!!

April Inspirations

We're already into April, and no foolin', the Dream Team has a spectacular month planned for you...filled with exciting news and inspiration for all of your crafting dreams! The exciting news will be announced in the Dream It Up! post on April 17th, but the "April Inspirations" challenge will run for the entire month. Each team member will post what inspires them in their creative life...maybe a Pinterest pic, a magazine pic, a quote, a book, a place, an artist, a crafter friend...along with their creation. We are hoping that you will feel inspired as well, and link your projects (and inspiration) to the inlinkz tool on the Dream It Up! blog. Check out what our Guest Designer and the "A" team has been inspired by for this week...

Here is my madness for this week:

Since I live in the Wyoming wilderness, I decided to do something that would be from the area.

So I started with :

LG714 Elk

LG715 Moose

andLL584 Bison

Next cut 4 4x4 squares of white paper. Sponge color over the whole area.
Place stencil over square and stencil color onto it.
Place paper face down on a piece of laminate paper.  Cut leaving a 12 inch border.  Cut corners in a V.  Apply double stick tape to back of image.
Cut 4 4x4 squares of cork.  Set image, adhesive side down onto cork.  Fold laminate edges over and TAH DAH!!!  You have a set of coasters.

Make sure to check out the rest of the team for more "MAD" ideas:
