QuietFire Rubber Stamps and Dreamweaver Stencils Day 2

Here's what I've created for today's post:

Quick & Easy!!

I used Quietfire Item #5855 and Dreamweaver Stencil LJ 893

First Stamp the image with Brillance Gold all over cardstock.  Stamp verse in Distress Forest Moss.  Place stencil over card face.  Then with a stencil brush add Forest Moss to bottom edge of all leaves and stems.  Move the stencil up approximately 1/4 inch.  Paste with gold paste.  Let dry, add ribbon.

 

Tah Dah......you are done!

"Awesome in Autumn" - Art Glitter and Dreamweaver a month long collaberation

Ready to get sparkly? This month is the annual collaboration between Dreamweaver Stencils and Art Glitter, and it promises to have double the glitter and double the fun! Follow the trail of bling all of this month on the Art Glitter blog, and the Dream It Up! blog. Play along with the monthly challenge of "Awesome in Autumn" and link your creations to the linkytool on the Dream It Up! Here's what I came up with.......  Quick and easy, but oh so sparkly!!

Start with Dreamweaver #3036, pumpkin.  Using the double glitter technique - start with Art Glitter orange.  Carefully place in center of pumpkin and edges of panels.  Use green on leaf and Gingerbread for stem.  Cover rest of pumpkin with Sunspot.

Remove stencil and cover with Crystal.

Layer onto decrative papers.  I added a bit of burlap ribben because it reminded me of potatoe sacks from fall harvests.

Dreamweaver Stencils and Woodware Craft Collection Christmas in August

 

 

 

Welcome to the annual Dreamweaver and Woodware Christmas in August extravaganza week! Monday through Saturday we will be knocking your Christmas stockings off with fun and inspirational ideas for the upcoming holidays. All that you need to do is hop back and forth across the "pond" on each day, oohing and aaahhhing as you go, and leaving us plenty of holiday love. In return, you'll be entered to randomly win one prize package for a UK commenter, and a second prize package for a US commenter, featuring products distributed in the UK by Woodware...including Dreamweaver and Stampendous!

Prize includes four stencils, one die, and two stamps, selection may vary.

Here's what I've created:

I took the flying chickadee from the Dreamweaver stencil LG708 Chickadees, dry embossed then added color with Prismacolor pencils. Stamp the House Mouse design available from Stampendous through Woodware UK with Coffee Archival ink. Color him with colored pencils. Paste Dreamweaver Joyeux Noel with Gold paste, let dry. Mat and layer as shown. I really love to add pieces of different designs together.
