CAS Holiday

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

Ever since I learned you could cover paste with embossing powder and heat it for interesting effects, I can't stop doing it.

So this week I started with :
LL3009 Christmas Script
and
LL3005 Holly and Swirls

Paste each stencil with Black Matt Paste.  Remove stencils.  Cover berries on both images with Ranger Distress Embossing Powder, Fired Brick.  Cover stems on LL3005 with Ranger Distress Embossing Powder, Frayed Burlap.  Tap off excess powder.  Cover leaves on both images with Ranger Distress Embossing Powder, Pine Needles.  Cover the script Christmas with Egyptian Gold embossing powder.  Tap off excess.  Heat images until they bubble. Trim to desired size.

I then edged both images with Ranger Distress Inks; Pumice Stone, Bundled Sage and Barn Door.
Finally edge again with Brilliance Galaxy Gold.  Mat with metallic paper and attach to card as shown.

I wish you and yours a Very Happy Thanksgiving and safe holiday season.

I am so thankful to be a part of such a wonderful supportive and creative group of ladies.  I hope you get inspired by their creations as much as I do!  Make sure to visit everyones blog and we will be back with more next week.
