December is Frosty Fun

With Christmas quickly approaching and time a luxury, I found a card I did a couple of years ago.  It reminds me of the Christmas Story.

So here it is.

Start with LL556 Sleigh & Reindeer

Dry emboss image

Then carefully color with colored pencils

Stencil snowflakes onto a piece of cardstock.  Make reverse mask of a circle, sponge color to make moon.  Dust edges of background piece.

Cut out image, mount onto front of card with 3-d foam tape.

This one isn't a quickie, but well worth the effort!

Make sure you check out the rest of the teams blogs for more frosty ideas.

Wishing you and your familys a Very Happy Holiday!!  See you next week.

  2. Your coloring technique plus the detailed cutting make this card come to life. And the smoke from the chimneys is a nice touch.
