This weeks card is another C&S card. I decided to use another faux cloisonne sample.
Begin by using Stencil LM2012 Fairy Flower Circle:
To help determine my color scheme, I looked for a paper that would enhance the image.
I found the paper and the colors, but the card needed something else.
I found a doily and sponged the colors used on the image onto the doily.
Layer the image onto the doily then onto the paper and it's done - that simple!
Make sure you check out the rest of the design teams blogs. They just returned from CHA, so I'm sure they will have some exciting new ideas in store for you!!!!
Make sure to play along by adding your images to Mr. Linky on the Dreamweaver Blog!!
Until next week.................................
Nice Terrece, I like the card. This stencil is one I like, but never seem to use enough. Thanks for the idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to use this stencil. I'm like Lee, I love the stencil and don't use it often enough. Thanks for inspiring me to get it out.
ReplyDeleteWow, that doily was the perfect size to go with that stencil design. Love this vintage feel it provides!
ReplyDeleteEverything really came together well on this, the circles in the background, the doily and the stencil...they fit perfectly with one another!
ReplyDeleteI've seen this card in person and just love how the lace makes it such a vintage feel. This is one of my favorite stencils.
