Christmas in August

I know the reason we have been in the 90's for the past two weeks is because we are having Christmas in August.

The card I decided to use this time represents the theme AND the beautiful pine trees that surround my parents home here in the mountains.

Start with LX7003 Ornate Xmas Tree Paste 3 trees with Silver Metallic paste and cut out leaving approx 1/8 of an inch border. Fold two in half. Attach all three together to give image dimension.

Attach trees to card front add glitter glue to areas you want the design to pop.

There you go, silver pine trees! This design is also a new background.

Now it's your turn.

So, to get into the holiday spirit a little early, link your own Christmas in August creations to the Dream It Up! blog mr. linky, or email pics of your creations to lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com, for an opportunity to win this wonderful newly released Heart Ornaments:

Don't you just love this new design? There are several newly released stencils and products from CHA last month, which you can view for yourself HERE. During the week of August 20th - 25th, the Dream Team will be posting all week with a hop on Saturday to top it all...featuring all of these new fabulous designs...in collaboration with the Woodware UK team. Just a little hint...you may want to buy all of these new designs now, so you are ready and waiting for the inspiration that will come your way that week! Meanwhile, check out what the rest of the team has been creating this week:

  9. Beautiful card. I can never get my paste to come out as perfectly clean as you do. Are you actually going to mail any of these cards out this year? ;-)
